A portion of the Biscayne landing site includes some of the wetlands of Biscayne bay, which will be preserved in the form of a 35 acre environmental park, containing nature hikes, jogging paths, information plaques that describe the resident wildlife and trees, benches, a canoe landing and a boat house. It will have connecting trails to Oleta river state park. the Oleta river state park is the largest park in the Florida state park system.

The park also is home to a Butterfly Garden and the Blue Marlin Restaurant which offers typical seafood dishes such as the delicious smoked fish and wraps.

The Biscayne's revitalization has transformed an urban neighborhood into a chic community by a flood of private investment. Trendy shopping centers (Keystone Executive Plaza, Biscayne Commons, …) retailers (Artefacto, Sport’s Authority), car dealerships (Lamborghini, Lexus, Audi, Mercedes) have made Biscayne Boulevard from North Miami to Aventura, their home place of business. Within walking distance from the Lofts, at the north east corner of 135th street and Biscayne Blvd is Keystone Executive Plaza, place of Einstein Bagels, Starbuck coffee, Jamba Juice, Chicken Kitchen.. At 147th street, among the shops at Biscayne Commons are Fridays, Pasha, Lime, Cigar Bar, Oishi Thai and Sushi, Publix, Petco, etc..
